Glenburn Regional Park is situated on Highway 376, between Maymont and Sonnigdal, along the North Saskatchewan River. The park is near the site where the Maymont Ferry operated from 1926 to 1975. The Ferry was moved to form a bridge over the creek between the park and golf area.

"We were on a family camping trip, when we arrived there was no one there to take our money; just a sign saying to go knock on the house door if there was no one around. No one answered the door ..... "
